One house cleaning, on your schedule

Not ready for a cleaning schedule? Book one clean. A GoodHands one-time clean uses the same checklist as our regular clients, so every room you live in gets done right: kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.

We're a local Knoxville cleaning company serving homes from Farragut and Hardin Valley to Fountain City and South Knoxville. Priced by the job, with your quote by text.

Who one-time cleaning is for

Homeowners, renters, and people hosting family can use a single visit without starting a recurring plan. It is a good fit when the home is in regular use and the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors need attention together. Sellers can plan a visit before photos or an open house. For landlords between tenants or buyers waiting to unpack, our move-in / move-out checklist is usually the better match because it covers empty cabinets and appliances.

When Knoxville homes book a one-time clean

  • Holiday guests. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and family coming in from out of town.
  • Game day weekends. Friends in town for a UT home game? Get the house ready before they show up.
  • Before or after a party. Birthdays, showers, graduations, and Super Bowl Sunday.
  • Showing your home. Get it ready for a listing, an open house, or an appraisal.
  • A reset. After a busy stretch at work, a new baby, or a surgery, when cleaning just isn't happening.
  • Trying us out. See how we clean before starting service twice per month.

How much does a one-time house cleaning cost in Knoxville?

A one-time house cleaning is priced by the job, not by the hour, so you know the total before we start. Your price depends on:

  • Size of the home: bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Condition: how long it's been since a professional clean, pets, and build-up.
  • Extras you want: inside the oven, fridge, or cabinets, if they aren't already included.

Tell us about your home in the form above and Jed will text you a price before anything is booked. Want to compare with recurring cleaning? See our pricing or the Knoxville house cleaning cost guide.

How to prepare for a one-time clean

Share your event date and the rooms that matter most when Jed texts you. Allow time after the clean to arrange food, decorations, and guest bedding. We confirm an available day before you book; a quote request alone does not reserve a slot.

Pick up loose items, clear counters where possible, and secure pets and valuables. Tell us about entry, parking, delicate surfaces, or rooms to skip. If there is heavy buildup, mention it before booking so we can discuss a deep clean and avoid planning the wrong checklist.

How booking works

  1. Tell us about your home. Use the short form at the top of this page: address, bedrooms, bathrooms.
  2. Get your price by text. Jed texts you a price and open days. No in-home estimate.
  3. We clean. Room by room, from a written checklist.

Questions

Straight answers.

Can I book just one house cleaning?

Yes. A one-time clean is just that: one visit, no contract, no recurring schedule.

What's included in a one-time clean?

Our full checklist in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas. If your home needs more, ask about a deep clean.

Should I book a one-time clean or a deep clean?

If your home is in decent shape and you want it guest-ready, a one-time clean is right. If it's been months since a professional clean, or you want baseboards and fixtures done, book a deep clean.

How much does a one-time clean cost?

It's priced by the job, based on the size and condition of your home. Jed texts you a price before anything is booked.

Is the free first clean for one-time cleans?

No. The free first clean (where you give to a charity instead of paying us) is for new clients who start cleaning twice per month.

How fast can you come?

Tell us your date in the form. We'll text you the closest open days. Holiday weeks and UT home game weekends fill up first, so book early.

Do I need to be home?

No. Lots of people aren't. We'll figure out how to get in when we book.
